Services à la personne, découvrez le recrutement par simulation

En 2008, plus de 49 000 personnes, tous secteurs confondus, ont été recrutées par la méthode de recrutement par simulation (MRS). Découverte au Québec en 1995, cette méthode est de plus en plus utilisée par les entreprises de services à la personne pour tester les « habiletés » des candidats : dans ce cas plus de CV ni de lettre de motivation mais des exercices reproduisant les conditions de travail au domicile pour vérifier que les candidats ont acquis les compétences nécessaires au poste.

Comment ça marche ?

La méthode est basée sur des exercices de simulation. "Ce sont des tests de recrutement recréant par analogie les habiletés nécessaires à l’exercice du métier " indique l’Anpe. En général, les postulants sont invités pendant  1 ou 2 heures sur une plateforme de vocation pour réaliser un certain nombre d’actions concrètes en respectant des consignes pour arriver à un résultat précis. L’objectif est de vérifier que le candidat  a acquis les savoirs nécéssaires au poste.

 

On peut ainsi demander aux candidats de lire un plan, montrer le deroulement du bain d'un nourisson. Chaque action est notée, si les résultats sont probants, le candidat rencontre alors l’employeur de service à la personne qui sait d'emblée que le poste lui convient. Au moins une personne sur deux est alors embauchée.


Quels sont les avantages ?

Les candidats aux emplois de service à la personne ne sont pas jugés sur leur parcours ou leur qualification mais sur des habiletés : organisation du travail, actes, postures, gestes, relations... Il en existe 26, personne ne les a toutes mais tout le monde en a et chaque poste n’en exige que 3 ou 4.

Les postulants peuvent avoir acquis ces compétences en dehors de leur vie professionnelle : une mère de famille peut ainsi avoir développé un sens de l’organisation et de la gestion d’un budget.

 

Moins de discriminations ?

Par ailleurs ces exercices sont moins discriminants, du moment que l’employeur respecte ses engagements. Ils sont aussi moins stressants qu’un entretien d’embauche à proprement parler où il faut « savoir se vendre ».

 

Avec les publics qui ne sont pas habituellement recherchés par les entreprises et associations ont des chances d’être sélectionnés.  La méthode de recrutement par simulation permet aussi de réduire les différentes formes de discrimination tout en préservant les exigences professionnelles des recruteurs.
